Description
Handmade reduction lino print
This print was inspired on a walk near Harlech Castle where the Marram grass was swaying beautifully in the breeze with the castle behind.
I love how the castle stands looking over the sea as a reminder of the past and of powers rising and falling… castles made of sand…
This is a limited edition print of just 20. It is a reduction print which means all the layers of colour have been cut from the same block which is repeatedly printed from. I think there are roughly 10 layers but I lost count as I made the print! The printing block is destroyed in the process so no more can ever be made.
The printed area is 31cm x 20cm – just slightly longer than A4.
