All Collagraph Prints

All the prints featured here are Handmade Collagraph prints. Collagraph printing is a lengthy process by which a textured plate is made using collage techniques (and in my case drypoint techniques too) This textured plate is then inked up and, via a printing press to apply enormous pressure, both the ink and the texture are transferred to paper.
By the nature of this hand printing process, each print is absolutely unique and there will be variation in tone, texture and colour from print to print even from the same plate.
