‘Blackbird in the Amelanchier’
Handprinted linocut. Part of my growing series celebrating the bird I see in my garden in the Bristol springtime.
This is an edition of just 14 handmade prints, printed on beautiful handcrafted,natural fibre, Awagami paper.
These were printed as reduction linoprints – each layer of colour has been carved from the same lino block, the block is therefore destroyed in printing process leaving a limited edtion of prints.
