‘Among the birches’
Handprinted linocut. Part of my growing series celebrating the birds I see in my garden in the Bristol springtime, this one showing a bluetit among Birch tree catkins.
This is an edition of just 9 handmade prints, printed on beautiful zerkal paper.
These were printed as reduction linoprints – each layer of colour has been carved from the same lino block, the block is therefore destroyed in printing process leaving a limited edtion of prints.
